In the spring, summer, and fall, Copper Harbor offers fishing, boating, hiking, and mountain biking. Take a sunset tour on the Isle Royale Queen, or rent a kayak to explore the Lake Superior shoreline or enjoy local historic sites, like Fort Wilkins State Park or the Quincy Mine Hoist.
In the winter, enjoy snowmobiling on miles of marked trail, go cross-country skiing on the Keweenaw’s groomed trails, or head to the Mt. Bohemia ski area for the highest vertical in the Midwest. Ice fishing, snowshoeing, and sledding are all popular winter activities.
